Stay Curious

While chewing on a crusty stick, my dog was interrupted by a racing rabbit. Without hesitation, he ran after the rabbit, leaping over stumps and shrubbery. Ignoring my commands, he was long gone past the neighbors garden and into the woods; the chase was on.

Curiosity strikes my dog when the rascally rabbit appears and off to the woods he runs. He’s got the taste of the chase, and it overrides obedience, safety or second guessing. With nothing in his way, he chases with ease.

While we might have more sense than a dog to chase after a rabbit, our curiosity pushes us into creative discoveries. Every useful tool, absentminded experiment, or creative art work began with that wild chase towards a new idea. The “what if” of it all inspires our intrinsic curiosity, floods our brain with dopamine, and we go running.

Every single human being is curious and inspired to learn. Sometimes, our curiosity gets blocked. Like a well kept fence removing access to the racing rabbits, we’re stopped from chasing after what inspires us.

Coaching helps free up creative space so that you can run after inspiration.

So, What rabbit is tempting your chase?  I’d love to hear all about it.

Stay Curious.
